The new location for Mountjoy Music Studio at 7 Broadway Street West, Yorkton, SK is up and running (UPDATE: Bought a building at 45 Betts)! Reach out if you're in Yorkton looking for lessons, production, etc. Big enough to do lessons, podcasts, meetings/creative space. Sorry Drummers! I'm leaving the Renown 57s at the main studio in Preeceville.

Since I've got to be in Yorkton half the week anyway taking care of my dad, who has dementia... getting him to his kidney dialysis treatments at the Yorkton hostpital... I figure I may as well open up a local space. So I'll be in the city on Tuesday late mornings through Saturday afternoons and then in Preeceville Saturday late afternoons through Tuesday mornings.

The lion's share of recording equipment and of course my drums will stay in Preeceville. The Yorkton studio will be utilized more for local music lessons, podcasts, and other small room type stuff. It's gonna be nice just having a local office to meet talent at so they don't have to drive so far to conduct studio business.

Much thanks to Laurie Renton for making the location available on such short notice and generous terms. Looking forward to exploring the energy in this interesting little area!
